Trek Details
Sikles trekking trail is comparatively developed one, although close to the main trekking region in the Annapurna region. Sikles trekking is recently explored and virgin trekking routes in the southern Gurung settlement of Nepal above the Mardi Khola (1,980m). There are several lodges or tea houses are available. Sikles trekking is an extreme beautiful of nature and well kept countryside of Nepal. Sikles Village is balanced on a hillock at an altitude of 2000 meter above sea level. This trek itself is not a difficult and time to study the wealth of flora and fauna to be found on route whilst also providing some wonderful views of the Annapurna Himalayas. Sikles trekking is famous for its well maintained rustic flair of traditional Gurung villages.
The village has five traditional neighborhoods around sikles trekking. They are Lama-Thar, Sabha-thar, Harpu-thar, Dhaprang-thar and Gairi-thar. Those villages bearing its own significance in the community. The lanes of the village are narrow with alleys and flanked by stones. Houses are made by mud & stone mixtures. It can be also observed in major numbers. The villagers follow both the Shaman and Budhist priests in their cultural rituals like marriage, death and deal with ill fate.
Sikles trekking route provides you surroundings where various species of birds are inhabited. Sikles trekking offers wonderful views of the Annapurna and Manasulu. You will be trekked climbing though oak, rhododendron and bamboo forest and following ancient trails to the Madi Khola valley and stayed in the villages of Sikles, Tang Ting and Bhujung. This new trek offers a virgin attractive village experience where we get to see the real country Nepal. Trekkers in Sikles trekking region can be enjoy by camping at unique sites, eat the local dishes and witness daily life unfold around us. You are approached through a close look at the formation of mysterious mountain wonders like Annapurna 4th to the north and Annapurna 2nd and Lamjung Himal. It is spectacularly easy & short trek pass through a variety of terrain from low land villages up to the richest and largest of Nepalese Gurung (Gurkha) village as well as blooming forests of rhododendron in the spring season.
This fabulous trek takes you on the less visited trekking route through the Gurung Villages of Ghale Gaun, Parche and Tangting, giving an awesome cultural high. Tara Hill Top at 3056m provides breathtaking, close-up views of the entire Annapurna Range. The ridge above the village of Sikles affords marvelous views of the Eastern Annapurnas. We trek through the friendly villages, terraced fields, alpine pastures and rhododendron forests to Parche Village. We continue on through a shady forest of rhododendrons draped with lichen and moss, wild flowers and orchids flowering on the branches above us. In the midst of this forest is our camp.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be sincerely welcomed by our representative.Then you will transferred to hotel.After you have refreshed you will meet your Sikles Trek Guide & Team.Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara by Bus or by Flight ( By Bus 7hrs & By flight 30 minutes )

We take an early morning flight or by Bus to Pokhara, the beautiful lake city and catch great views of the Himalayas from the right side of our Airplane or Bus.During the flights or Bus you can able to see Mt.Annapurna,Dhaulagiri,Manaslu and much more mountains.After landing in the Pokhara airport will drive you to Hotel.Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 03: Pokhara to Kharpani / Hot Spring Trek 5/6 hours (Trek Starting Day)

After breakfast ,Drive from Pokhara to Hemja / Milanchowk and start trek to Kharpani (Hot spring) via beautiful village Lhachowk / Ghachowk it overnight at tented camp or Local House. So we could found just little-bit and very small pound for hot-spring some where on that area. 5/6hrs
The temperature at the hot spring ranges from 45*C to 48*C and is 54*C to 57*C at the foundation. The water in this hot spring consists of great amount of black salt and phosphorus which itself is a natural antibiotic. Due to this reason, the diseases are not transferable from one another while sharing the bath at the hot spring. By taking continuous bath in this hot spring, diseases like gastric, rheumatism, uric acid, back ache, skin disease, swelling, goiter and arthritis have been found to be cured. Depending on the nature and condition of the disease, people take bath in the hot spring for a period of couple of days to even weeks. The hot spring can occupy up to approximately 2 to 6 people at a time.

Day 04: Kharpani trek to Ghalegaun (2713m) 5/6 hours

After Breakfast, Kharpani trek to Ghalegaun (2713m) it takes about 5 /6 hours then overnight at tented camp.6/7hrs.Beautiful viewpoint and village for Ghale People.

Day 05: Trek to Tara Hill top (5/6 hrs)

Trek to Tara Hill top (5/6 hrs) and camp as this hill top offers the best view of the Annapurna panorama.5/6hrs
We trek westwards with the snow-capped peaks to our right.Soon after lunch we make the steep climb up to our night’s perch; a grassy wooded knoll that we know as Tara Top (Starlight Top) at 3,025m

Day 06: Trek down to Parje (1760m) 6/7hrs

Trek down to Parje (1760m) Camp through the forest. Parje is 20 mints away from Siklish and offers great view of Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. 6/7hrs

Day 07: Rest and Exploration day around Sikles Gurung Cultural Village (2000m) 5/6 hours

One of the oldest and second largest Gurung village in Nepal is Sikles. And this historic hill trek will bring you to this place, which still retains the aura of an ancient Gurung culture and heritages. Actually, this trek will be the combination of awesome Gurung culture, wonderful traditional village life and Himalayan panorama of Annapurna range as well as Mardi Himal

Day 08: Sikles to Chansu (980m) 6/7hrs

After breakfast pass the Parche village with beautiful terases land and reach down to Madi river and flait and up trail to reach Chasu and over night camping. 5-6hrs

Day 09: Chansu to Kalikasthan (Sunrise and Sunset Viewpoint) ( 1370m.), 6/7hrs

The trails starts off through flat rice fields and then climb through Patle to a Chautara and gradually ascends along a ridge top taking through Brahmin villages until you reach Kalikasthan where you will spending the night. The place offers exquisite views of all Annapurna and Manaslu mountains view with beautiful Begnas Lake,Rupa Lake and Pokhara city.

Day 10: Kalikasthan to Begnas Lake and drive to Pokhara (910m), 4/5hrs ( Trek Ending Day )

Walk down to beautiful way to Lake,forest and back to Pokhara.If you wish then we could boating in Begans lake for photographs.Will have lunch at near Begnas Lake and drive back to Pokhara .

Day 11 : Today, it is free day in Pokhara

You have options to visit Peace Pagoda, Sarangkot view Points, Beautiful Lakeside Areas,International Mountain museums & historical sites etc.

Day 12: Fly or by Bus to Kathmandu

We take Flight or tourist Bus to Kathmandu. The bus leaves at round 7:30. We have snack and lunch break on the way to Kathmandu.

Day 13: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

You can visit the Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, Durbar Square,Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhunath) and Buddhist shrine (Bouddhanath), which is largest sputa in the Nepal.Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 14: Final Departure

Approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight.Our company representative will droop you to Kathmandu international Airport for fly to your Home.
