We offer another an exciting Honey Hunting trip in the Himalayan foothills of Nepal, Every Spring and Autumn(April-May and November –Dec).It is fun to watch Honey hunting in Nepal Himalayan rocky cliff. Villagers set off the fire are lit at the base of the cliff to smoke the bees from their honeycombs. From above, a honey hunter descends the cliff harnessed to a ladder by ropes. As his mates secure the rope and ladder from the top and ferry tools up down as required, the honey hunter fights territorial bees as he cuts out chunks of honey from the comb.” It is a good chance to view and experience the traditional honey hunting harvest of the local villagers. The Bees Apis laboriosa and Apis dorsata are indigenous to the region and traditional methods of harvesting the honey on steep cliffs have remained unchanged for generations.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
Upon arrival in Katrhmandu, transferred to HOTEL FOR check in. Cultural day in Kathmandu valley. First, we will visit Swayambhunath Temple, said to be 2500 years stupa on a hillock, which offers a breath-taking view of Kathmandu City and you will also be able to see the beautiful sunset. Next we will visit Kathmandu Durbarsquire (old Royal palace) Dinner will be served at a local restaurant and you will be free to stroll around the busy streets of Kathmandu. Hotel Marshyangdi or similar.
After breakfast, Drive to Pokhara second largest city of Nepal. (On the way you can have an optional Whitewater rafting )Pokhara- this lakeside village holds ” front row center” to one of the most beautiful Himalayas panoramas in the world. The Annapurnas and the famous “Fishtail” mountain peak of Machapuchare tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara and two days span will highlight the substantial view of natural beauty to our trip. Overnight stay at HOTEL IN pokhara.
After breakfast take short drive to Phedi, which is the initial trekking point, then precede the trek towards Dhampus from there enjoy good view of Annapurna ranges.
After breakfast at camp start journey to Landruk, lunch will be served on the way. Landruk is habitat of Gurung community. We will get to see their various customs and transaction as well as able to witness close view of Annapurna south and Fishtail “Machapuchare”. Dinner & overnight at Landruk village.
After breakfast short walk for honey hunting site. Honey hunter pray before they start. We can see the Heart Thrilling Honey hunting program at Cliff. After you enjoy honey hunting program, Trek to Ghandruk village. On the way passing through modi river some small villages etc.Ghandruk village is one of the famous tourist spot. Excellent view of Annapurna ranges. Stay overnight at Ghandruk.
After breakfast, we’ll start our trek to TADAPANI, all the way up hill. lunch will be served on the way. After lunch we’ll climb up hill to the Tadapani. Stay overnight at Tadapani. Much closer view of Mt. Annapurna south and Mt Fishtail.
Today we walk through the jungle, lunch will be served on the way as usual. After lunch we gradually descend to Ghorepani which is very famous tourist spot. From here we can enjoy close view of Mt.Fishtai,Mt.Annapurna south, Mt Dhaulagiri, Mt Nilgiri etc.
Today we wake up early in the morning and short trek to Poon hill for sunrise and various Mountain Views. Again we back to Ghorepani for breakfast, after breakfast start our journey to all the way down hill tto Hile. Overnight at Lodge.
Early morning start walks for about 3-4 hour up to Nayapool and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at HOTEL IN pokhara.
Depart Pokhara to Kathmandu by coach or domestic flight (USD 96 optional). Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, we will depart Kathmandu (Tribhuwan I’ntional airport) for your flight back to home.
